We had a really great 1 night stay. The hotel staff was amiable and welcoming. Got the same spotless and quiet triple room with all facilities booked online, truly enjoyed that. The food provided was appetising!

Our stay at Maruia Motels And Flyfishing was wonderful. We were traveling between the Nelson area and Christchurch and the location was perfect for us. The motel is well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed available. The owner and hosts, Amber and Ashley, were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well-taken care of. They even made us a delicious dinner, accommodating my son's gluten-free needs effortlessly. The surrounding area is beautiful, with stunning forests, hills, and rivers, making it a great place for outdoor activities like walking and fishing.
Would recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at Maruia Motels And Flyfishing was exceptional. The functional layout of the room made it comfortable and pleasant, and the beautiful views surrounding the motel added to the overall experience. The friendly staff made me feel welcomed, and I loved going for walks nearby. Meeting Underfoot the cat, who joined me on a short walk in the forest, was a delightful bonus. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Maruia Motels And Flyfishing are cozy and well-appointed. We loved waking up to the stunning mountain view from our balcony. The triple room had an electric kettle and a toaster, making it easy to enjoy a morning cup of tea or coffee. The double room had a convenient stovetop, perfect for preparing a quick meal. The flat-screen TVs in both rooms kept us entertained during our downtime. the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Personally, we found the bathroom in our room a bit small. However, this is just our opinion, and others may still find it adequate for their needs.
